Product Description

The Multigene is a compact thermal cycler with a capacity for 20 samples (0.2ml) which gives excellent temperature control and versatility. A 16 position block (0.5ml) is also available.

A separate version of the Multigene is available to process 2 microscope slides. This is particularly useful for labs performing FISH tests.

Multigene is programmed via a separate PC and steps are entered via a simple spreadsheet interface. Once a program has been verified by the software it is downloaded to the Multigene via an RS232 link. As several units can be connected to a single PC the program can be downloaded onto several instruments at the same time. This makes it particularly suitable for schools and university environments.

The heated lid has an operational temperature range from ambient up to 125 degrees C.
